    Florida vs Texas
A friend of ours is thinking of moving to Texas from Florida. Would the inheritance taxes be more in Texas. She has everything in trust to her children who live in other states.
    Thanks

I researched and the following are the ONLY States that impose an inheritance tax: Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Nebraska, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

    Florida and Texas do NOT.
