My furnace is in the garage, my A/C is outside. Last year I had no water. Issues, but this year my garage has a large amount of water running from PVC pipe. AC is running a lot due to extremely heat. Is there a problem w AC? When I got my home inspection the man said I would need coolant or freon soon because the AC just met cooling standards... how do I know when its time. To call someone.

Forget the home inspection guy. He doesn't know anything about air conditioning.
The reason you see water is the condensation tube or pipe is clogged. It drains the condensation that is created when air is cooled to the outside. The condensation pipe will probably be a PVC pipe about 1" diameter going from the furnace to the outside of the garage. It may have a cap on a tee which you can remove to clean or it may not. If not cut pipe, run some kind of small wire down pipe to clear blockage. An electrician's fish is a good tool for this. Reconnect piping with PVC coupling.

Edit: Rereading your post. If the water is coming out the end of a piece of PVC pipe then that is your condensation drain. It is doing what it is suppose to do. Just extend the pipe to the exterior of the garage.

We're not sure what you mean about the water in the garage. Is it leaking from the heater or running out a pipe into the garage? Please clarify.
