    Help with Japanese Modern Vase
Can anyone help me with the marks on the bottom of this vase, I'm trying to identify the maker and get a general value for it. It looks like it's from the 50's, the exterior texture is very bumpy. The vase is very solid and heavy. Thanks!

Japanese artists would never turn out something as sub standard as this. The inside would be finished and lacquered.Sorry, but I know it is attractive, and the symbols do look japanese, but that doesn't mean it is. You will have to find someone who can read japanese and I don't think we have anyone here that does. The symbols appear to be stamped in, rather then etched in. Etching a Japanese signature is more usual then stamping.
