I love with a female, 62 yr old roommate who refuses to move out.
She is an alcoholic who refuses to move and pays her rent on time. I really like where I live and have super neighbors and a back yard that is suitable for my dog. She's neurotic. Is there anything I can do to get her out?

Hi... We are both on a month to month rental agreement. I live in S. California. I made a spelling area when I posted my question, should have read, "I live with an alcoholic." Aside from all of her irresponsibility yesterday she lost the mail box key and accused me of taking it? Absurd. I was told by a friend of mine with past exp. Livg with alcoholic parents that she may start to accuse me of things and twist the truth.

My alcoholic room mate runs very hot most of the time... my guess this is part of her disease and she insists on having the a/c on and running even when it is cold outside and our arrangement is that we each pay half of whatever the electricity bill is however, I told her that I will not pay for exorbitant electric bills because she is a bad steward over the usage of it. I've given her each month a good fair share of my portion of the electricity and she just doesn't get it and has tantrums since the bill is in her name. I've had to resort to this kind of consequence since she simply will not adhere to any kind of logical thinking or behalf in a responsible manner with this particular issue. She also leaves windows wide open and sliding doors open and forgets to secure and lock the house when she leaves... like with this idiot is chaotic. She loves arguing but I've learned this is all too common for the alcoholic. Help? Any suggestions.

If she is part of the rent to the landlord you can not evict her.

If she rented from you, you could have evicted her.

I have never known a rental home to stand in the way of love, if you are really in love, any home will be better than not having your love with you.

But move your love in with you, perhaps the other drunk will decide to leave?
