    balancing equations
    Can you please balance these for me please
    Zn+O2+ZNO2
    Copper(group 2)+hydrochloric acid=Copper(2)chloride +oxide

    2Zn + O2 -> 2ZnO
    Zinc oxidizes to +2 state, oxygen reduces to -2, so two Zn are required for two O

    Cu + 2HCL -> CuCl2 + H2

    Cu oxidizes to +2 state, and 1 e- is required to reduce a hydrogen atom, so one Cu will reduce two H, which forms diatomic H2 gas
