Auadis Shower Faucet Will Not Flow Cold Side
This is a single lever Aquadis shower faucet (probably the cartridge type). It will only allow hot water to flow, absolutely zero cold water will flow. Can someone tell me how to dismantle the faucet and give me an idea about what my problem might be? Thank you.

Do you mean an AQUADIS faucet? If so, it should disassemble as any single lever faucet, but it isn't manufactured in the USA so you may want to contact the manufacturer and see if they can send you literature on your specific faucet.

Check them out at Aquadis | Robinetteries, Lavabos, Bains, Douches

Otherwise, for most valves you would shut off the water supply, remove the handle and the trim plate and gain access to the cartridge assembly... should be pretty obvious how to remove once the trim is off.

    Good luck!

Thank you Mark. I have tried to contact the Aquadis folks and no one has responded. Makes no sense since this is a high line faucet (cost over $300). I did get the plate and handle off and was able to pull the cartridge. But, it looks good and has no crud at all, no deposits of any sorts. There still remains a ceramic looking part in the body of the faucet (which the cartridge rotates against), and when I allowed water pressure to the faucet, still no cold coming out. Apparently, the blockage is somewhere within the housing itself. By the way, there is good pressure reaching the faucet. I cannot determine how to remove that ceramic piece, maybe it is held in place by a screw which I cannot see (coming in from behind). Thank you for your help. Wayne

    Hi Wayne...

If there are any shutoffs going to the valve you may need to disassemble the shutoff and see if that got plugged. Can't speak to the ceramic part... could unscrew or not... hard to say.

Otherwise, if you click on the link to Aquadis that I provided they have a telephone number.. can call them direct!

I have exactly the same problem with my Aquadis faucet. As yours it is upper line $300+ and same issue is happening for last few months. It was OK for about 1 year and after that no more cold water pressure.

Were you able to solve your problem?

    Thanks in advance.
