Leaks at basement foundation after installing new water tank
Ater I installed a new water tank I started to notice water leaking into the basement where the tank is. Its coming through cracks in the foundation. When I empty the tank and shut the system off over night the leaks stop. I'm assuming the new water pressure (48# at high) has caused a leak? My well head is only 8 ft from the foundation. Could the pitless adapter be leaking? Anyone else have the same problem? What's happening?

Is it hot water heater "tank"? If so, where is your T&P discharge pipe going ? Is it going through foundation ? Back to you. Milo

I assume you are talking about a well pressure tank. How large is the tank? How close to the wall does it sit? Does it sit directly on the floor? Does the well pipe come through the wall? If so, does it come through a sleeve or is the wall sealed around it?
