    Scalding water
    Why is the hot water in bath/shower not nearly as hot as in the sink right next toit

    Most recent tub and shower have a built in temperature limiting device. Can be adjusted to some extent.

    Both good ideas. This could also be caused by a partially blocked cartridge in the shower mixer. Has it always been like this or is some part new?
