Can you strip lighter dye out with a color corrector?
I dyed my naturally dark blonde hair a lighter blonde last night, and it didn't work. Barely changed the color of my hair at all. Since I've lightened it, do I need to use a color corrector/remover before re-dying it again (light blonde)? I plan on using a different brand this time. I was always under the impression that "stripper" was to get darker dye out, but I don't want the new dye to come out uneven. I'd rather not put my hair through any more potentially damaging processes if I don't have to. I don't want to ask a stylist because they would have course tell me to come in to fix it and charge me lots of money. Help?
    Thanks!
