    My harbor breeze ceiling fan light
    My harbor breeze ceiling fan light kit slowly turns and I can hear the blades rubbing when I turn on the fan why doe's this happen ?

    Sounds to me like you have a mechanical bind.

    With the power off, rotate the fan blades to see if you can find where on the cowling the blades are rubbing.

    I have already figured out the problem.I disassembled the whole thing,took everything down(except for the bracket)and re-hung it corectly.Thanks for the response anyway.
