    Toilet backed up and water leaking from floor to downstairs ceiling

    Probably blockage in main stack. Sink would drain into main and water could back up and come out between toilet and floor flange if not a good seal buy the wax ring between floor flange and toilet. Pull toilet and snake the main drain.
