Wondering what kinds of foods are good to eat and avoid after gall bladder removal...
I am a 37 year old woman who just had my gall bladder removed 1 week ago as of tonight and wanted to know what kinds of low fat foods are good and bad to be eating after just 1 week since my surgery. Thank you. ~~

You need to carefully look at any packaged food for the fat content.

I had my GB out at age 42 and could not eat anything containing much fat for the first 6 months or so and then I gradually added a bit more fat each month. Now I can eat virtually anything.

What have you been eating that makes you feel bloated or gassey afterwards?

I can't eat brocoli as it gives me a bloated feeling.

Didn't your doctor give you a diet guide to follow?
