My best friend changed too much.
I've known my best friend for like 15 years and now, she's changing in a bad way. This other girl Ive known for a while (and can be a huge *****) is now friends with her and they're really cliquey. Ever since they became friends she's been a *****, and she never used to. I can't talk to her anymore without her saying "cool" or "K". She's really been my best friend but she's just changing, & she's ditched me a couple times. I know I should probably just not be her friend anymore but its really hard. She's been my best friend forever and I honestly don't want to loose her as my friend,Ii just want her to not be a *****.

Explain how you feel, and let her know that if she keeps up this kind of behaviour she's going to loose you as a friend. That's the only way to go about it.

My problem is I don't know how to say it, I can't tell her not to be friends with the other girl, but she was so much better off without her. See I kind of have a group of friends, and both of them are in it. And I don't want to start a fight with anyone, but I know that's what it would lead to.

Its disappointing and disturbing to see a friend change, and become distant, but maybe its time to give that friend some space while you widen your own circle of friends a bit, so maybe you kind of click with someone else.

People change, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse, and we have to let them do their thing without us.
