My boyfriend and I have been going out for almost 9 months and he doesn't touch me unless he is hugging me. He put his arm around me once or twice but, he won't hold my hand, put his arm around my waist or kiss me. I have kissed him on the cheek 2 times but he never kissed me before. Another thing, he can't come up with a better nickname for me other than, Beautiful. That's all he calls me. He sees gorgeous pictures of me and all he can say is "Dang you are ssssssooooo Beautiful it isn't funny!" he never says hot or gorgeous or sexy. I know he wants to and I can tell because he always stutters when he says something like that. I guess I just want to feel better about myself and this relationship.

Age and maturity may be a factor. I notice from reading your profile that you are a teenager. Is he a teenager too?

Have you talked to him?

He may be nervous and shy. He may not want to take a chance on things getting out of hand. He may come from a family that doesn't show affection as much as you are used to. Only he knows why he doesn't show affection more than he does.

What do you call him and how does he respond?

This seems like a good time to learn how to communicate with him. Remember that he doesn't know what you are thinking unless you tell him. I am not talking about a confrontation or making him defensive. More along the lines of 'I was wondering why.. '
