I'm 17 and I want to move out, is this possible?
I have about 11 months till I'm 18, I want to move out now. I have an apartment that I could move into up in New York, I live in Pa, but I don't have parental consent.

You can be emancipated at 17 under PA law, but your parents can then not support you, and if you mean anywhere around NYC, you can be walking into dangers you know nothing about.

But to be emancipated you will have to have a job, be able to show you can support yourself ( not live with someone else) and file in court, The court case would not even make it to court most likely before you would be 18

Nwls.org has info about non-court emancipation in PA.
