This movie was made (i believe) in the mid 1900's, the only scenes i can remember are the ones that follow; Little white girl ( age is around 10-12) always goes to a small lake near her house, she hides this wood small box in the lake, the box is attached to a long rope to a tree. she hides meaningful objects in that box. Next scene i remember is that a man shot her pet rabbit, Third scene; her parents are moving out from their home. I believe the girl has something to do with the love of rabbits, and hides secrets in that box. PLEASE HELP!
