    Hi Guys...

Sounds like your heating element might be gone. If you have power going to the machine and the dryer timer (dial) is working and you are getting NO HEAT at all then the dryer element is a reasonable guess from here.

For your particular dryer the element is PART #3387747

    It can be found here:

    http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part...L-DRYER&blt=11

That I know of, it cannot be purchased directly from sears ONLINE as it is on back order at this time. Check it and an exploded view of all the dryer parts by typing in the model number at the search area at this link:

    http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part...mp=xsite_Sears

UNPLUG The dryer, disconnect the dryer duct hose, and gain access to the element (see exploded pictures for help to access) to confirm. If the element is broken or has a burn/short on the metal around it then it needs to be replaced.

    Back to you...

Thanks, Mark. I'll try to find one somewhere else online. Odd that it should be on back order. Maybe it's an indication of a common issue with this particular dryer. Everything else works fine and the dryer gets little usage so I am really surprised (and frustrated) that I am having this issue.

Myself, I would check the element with a meter to be sure that it's really shot. Just throwing new parts at a problem can be more expensive than buying a new dryer.
    Good luck

For sure, that's why I said, "UNPLUG The dryer, disconnect the dryer duct hose, and gain access to the element (see exploded pictures for help to access) to confirm. If the element is broken or has a burn/short on the metal around it then it needs to be replaced"...

Of course, a check using a meter would be a little more professional... :D

    Thanks PT!

There are two possible problems, both related to dirt buildup: The safety thermal switch is burned open or the element has burned up. Either way you need to disassemble the drier and clean it out well which means washing out all parts except the motor. Vacuum out motor and wash out fan and all duct work. Check element and fuses. You can see if element is burned in two. The fuses on element and safeties you need to check with an ohm meter-don't guess. They should show zero ohms. DrTom4444
