    There is no set time frame - could be immediately, could be never.

    The terms of your probation undoubtedly require that YOU report the violation to your PO.

    Does not really matter, since it is a very serious violation not to report it, so if you don't report and when they do find out, what may have been a minor issue, it will become much more serious
