My boyfriend is sitting in jail for violating his probation. He stopped checking in he was transferred to another town from the original he got in trouble in. What r the chances they will let him come home? He is on probation for a felony.

Slim unless he can really act like he is sorry. ( and not sorry for being in jail but sorry for not checking in)
The issue here is, that he had a chance, and just could care less if he was in jail or not, since he stopped checking in.

The judge will most likely have him in jail for a bit to remind him why he is checking in.
First he will sit in jail until the hearing, which can be a few weeks, to 5 or 6 weeks at times.

It is very likely they give him perhaps 30 to 90 days in jail to teach him a lesson but may put him back on probation since it was the first time.

There is no acceptable excuse for not checking in other than you were unconscious in the hospital or dead. Chances are slim to none he's going anywhere until he has a VOP hearing at which time the Judge will hand down new stipulations.
