    Jeep grand cherokee forum?
My 2003 Grand Cherokee 2.7cdi pulls to the left when I quickly accelerate and then does the same when I take my off foot quickly, not nice feeling on motorway. Had all bushes checked on suspension. Any one help please.

We don't have a grand jeep cherokee forum, hjames. Try a licensed mechanic in a garage of your choice.

    Thoughts:

Grand Cherokees have had a problem with the steering linkage. Usually, the end links go and need to be replaced. This affects alignment. Jack the front end up and check it out. It's also common to wear out the ball joints. I recommend using Moog replacement parts--much better than OEM. Lubricate the ball joints and other suspension parts with Mobil 1 Multi-Purpose NLGI #2 Synthetic Grease. Afterwards, get the vehicle aligned, if you replace steering linkage parts, since the toe will be affected and this greatly affects tire wear. If there's no slop in the steering, I suspect the ball joints are bad or the alignment is out. Most suspension parts need replacing every 100,000 miles.

Thanks for the advice, already had all joints checked so decided to get alignment checked. 3mm out on one side and 4mm out on other. The correct figure is 1.8mm, over 5mm out. Seams to be much better driving to London tomorrow 150 miles so will have better idea, will let you know.

Yes, alignment being off that much is very significant.
