Uk citizen marrying us citizen laws?
Hi Im from Northern Ireland so Im classed as a UK citizen. My fiancée is a US citizen and living and working in the Us. We want to marry but are not sure which country is more straighforeard to marry in? We are both over 25 and plan to travel and possibly work abroad after we marry. We may spend the first year of marriage in Ireland and them travel. Can you advise which is best to marry in the USA or Uk/Ireland. Thank you for any help you can give us.

Are you asking for financial reasons? Because you could be married on a cruise ship by an ordained minister and you will still be married legally. Is that what you want to know or is there more.

Married is married, each will still have to apply and get visas to live and work in the others nation.
