    Hello, I have a Rheem ac unit I just had to replace the fan motor.
    Hello, I have a Rheem ac unit I just had to replace the fan motor. It appeared to work fine for about two days and cooled good. On the third night I noticed it wasn't cooling when I checked the next day I found that the red wire connecting the condencer to compaciter was burned and broke away. So I twisted wire back around the terminal on the compciter and it started back working for two or three hour before it melted into another wire and shut the unit down again. Does anyone know what this problem most likely is
