Reversing child custody orders?
Total disgrace. My child had been living with me for 3 years. The father was tried and convicted for trying to kill me while holding my baby in my arms. The father then filed custody for our daughter only so he could stay in USA, he's from South America. Psychologist report said they felt comfortable with the child continuing to be with me, but worried for the father to have custody. Also the child has reported to the doctors of SEXUAL ABUSE, THE father filed for custody and won. They have prevented me and my family from seeing my daughter. We haven't seen her in years. The judge filed a child support order of 489 dollars a month. I had just gotten a real estate commissioned job and had no proof of income. I lost my job and Virginia would not ALLOW ME TO APPEAL THE CASE. They also keep allowing ex to file false charges against me and preventing me from entering into my own house. I have fled the country, but I need to expose them for what they did to my baby girl and my family. I have documents to prove my claim. The judge gave NO REASON TO REMOVE MY DAUGHTER from me NOR VERBALLY OR IN WRITING. I desperately need help and need it fast. Anyone out there have any idea how or what I should be doing to get my daughter back?

You need to hire an attorney. But I must tell you, your story isn't very credible. If, in fact, the father was convicted of attempted murder or any sort of violence against you, it makes it hard to believe he would have been awarded full custody. |

Yes, sorry can't believe this at all, first if he was convicted of attacking you with child in arms, that is child endangerment. Next "keeping you out of own home" do you mean a joint home that you and he owns together that he owns ? Keeping you from seeing child ? Have you not filed contempt against him for stopping you from court ordered visits? The only way this could even happen at all ( and even thing I doubt it) would be if he had an attorney and you did not even show up for court. |
