    Adding Probation
Can a Judge add probation time and more fines and community service after the first court trial. My son is out of work and hasn't been able to pay his fines. So the smart thing is to DOUBLE his probation .

You think that's the smart thing because you're his mother.

The Court gave him probation instead of jail. That was the smart thing to do at that time. Then your son didn't meet the conditions of probation.

Why set new rules if he didn't follow the old?

The Court might give him another chance or, again, it might not.

    What was the original charge?

Has he done his community service , since he is out of work, he should have done all of it by now?

Is he paying something at least ?

But no, they will either work with him or violate him
