I had veneers put on. They were entirely too big for me and I spoke with a lisp. My teeth were OK before but I wanted a near perfect smile. Anyway, I went back, told him I wouldn't smile and felt like everyone was staring at my veneers. He suggested crowns. So he drilled my teeth down to nubs. Then he slapped some crowns on. I paid thousands of dollars for this but he treated me like a 15.00 copay. He put two in, left me with an assistant while she cleaned up the cement. He left to work on another patient. He then came in and slapped two more on, then assistant worked on me, etc. Two of the crowns came off while she was "cleaning" them so she said, Whoops! And held them in place. Then finally he slapped the final two on. I feel like the left front should be in the right, etc. Now my right front tooth is longer than my left front, I have maroon lines around the gums and a foul smell. It has been six months and I can't get used to the feel. I feel my teeth hurt, they are wearing suit cases. I can't chew normally, can't close my mouth without my bottom teeth hitting my top crowns. They are the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing I think about at night. My anxiety is through the roof. And, before the veneers were put on, a first set came in and he said they looked so bulky he didn't feel comfortable cementing them in, Also the same happened with the crowns. One set came in and they looked like mice teeth. I refused to let him cement them in. He acted agitated. So he ordered bigger ones. I am traumatized. I can't get used to them. What can I do?

If you can't get satisfaction you go to another Dentist, get the work done (or corrected), sue Dentist #1 for his shoddy workmanship.

Of course, you have to prove by expert testimony that #1 either did something he shouldn't have done OR didn't do something he should have done.

It's malpractice.
