    Extrernal hdd write protection
    How do I turn the write protection off on my hard drive. It somehow turned on and now I cannot put anything else on there because the write protection error pops up.

    Try disconnecting the external drive, then reconnecting it to let Windows find it again. Hopefully that will do the trick.
