I've been bleeding for 3 weeks it's all almost gone. My obgyn says my cervix is still closed and my ultrasound puts me at 6 weeks and 1 day though by period I should be 8 weeks and 1 day what explination can I get for these complications? And what are my chances of keeping the babt?

Your OB would be better answering these questions. Sounds though like you are suffering what is called a threatened miscarriage. Has your doctor placed you on bedrest?

My obgyn is pushing a DNC I'm not ready for that. He checked my HCG he said they went up, I had another ultrasound things developed a little bit but he's still pushing for a DNC I'm just trying to get other opinions I don't want to get an abortion if there's a chance everything will be OK. He didn't put me on strict bed rest he said just to take it easy and that the bleeding may get worse but it's actually gotten better there is almost no blood my cervix is still closed I have not passed any tissue just blood I had an ultra sound today and my gestation is at 6 weeks and 1 day so the baby is still there

Was it a transvaginal ultrasound? I know it's early, but was a heartbeat detected?

I'm only an RN in women's health and by no means a doctor, but if I were you, I would put myself on bedrest.

You mean with the probe? Yes Ma'an it was. And the ultrasound tech couldn't disclose any information the radiologist have a policy that the ultrasound tech cannot disclose any information good or bad.
