    Vomiting without reason
So I'm 22 and on birth control. I do drink regularly and never have I had a problem with it. I don't over do it. I had been horribly sick for a week that left me bed ridden but the only thing that didn't happen during my sickness was throwing up but now its been over two weeks since I was sick and I started throwing up ALL of my food. I feel fine and have no nausea but I can't keep any of my food down. I've been eating healthy and still can't keep any food down. I also have steady periods. It's leaving me weak and I'm a bit worried what it could be. I don't have insurance or money to go to a hospital. Is there any areas I should look into about this?

    Ok, that's a tricky one.

Firstly, I would find a good natropath; specifically someone that has done iridology. Iridology is a way of diagnosing a body's health issues by looking in the iris of the eye. You know how they say eyes are the window to the soul? Well they're the window to the health of the body too.

Secondly, I would take out all dairy & wheat products - go raw and organic where you can. Light salads, fruits, juices (not processed ones) particularly apple if you're sick.

Are you SURE you're not pregnant?? Might be something worth looking into - these things happen.

I fell pregnant last year & had a miscarriage without realising it, until it was too late. So check yourself out with a home pregnancy kit. Rule out that possibility.

Third thing I would do is water with a little bit of glucose in it to keep your fluids & electrolytes up.

But if you can't afford doctors / hospital, you should go and see a natropath. They're usually cheaper (I assume same in USA - I'm in Australia) and often better. My doctor's have all been idiots - my natropaths always fixed the issue, every time.

You may even be able to find someone who does iridology online via a photo of your eyes? Google "online iridology" & see what you can find. Basically, you take a clear photo of your eyes, showing all of your iris (the coloured bit) & send it off. They'll do a diagnosis for you based off that to give you an indicator of what it may be.

Juices will help if you're vomitting a lot, they're easier to digest.

I would wean yourself off the pill - they're not good for you anyway but if you're sick, you're not keeping it down so it will have your hormones going up and down like a yoyo. Get off the pill, let your body reset to normal then look at an alternative (like the IUD perhaps?) that doesn't put your body through so much.

Good luck - hope you feel better!

Oh and ginger is great for nausea. Lemon balm tea. Ginger tea, even a bit of catnip tea is good (herbs). They'll help settle your tummy. Trail mix of nuts and sultanas / raisins etc helps too.

Thank you! You are very informative! I will look into that. I have never heard of a natropath. Hope we have those here, aha. And yes, I did take a pregnancy test the next day and another one in the morning. Both negative.
