    Amoxicillin Reaction
I have recently taken amoxicillin to treat a sinus and ear infection. Ever since I started taking it 2 times a day for ten days my anus has become very itchy and burns on occasion. The same goes for my vagina its become very sensitive and burns as well as itches like crazy. I looked today and the skin around my anus and my vagina is all purple. This is very uncomfortable. What is possibly wrong with me?

You may have contracted a yeast/thrush infection which is very common with amox. Contact your doctor so that this can be treated properly.

You could just be having a reaction to the meds. This is common and your dr can give you more information about it.
