Shared feelings for my lesbian friend, male
I had to get this off my chest and it's hurting me. It's like another similar post.

I'm friends with a very pretty, younger lesbian, she's in her late 20's and me in my 30's. I see her daily and we started as friends as we naturally get on. I knew she was gay but at this time it was meaningless, anyway we started to get more friendly, with some compliments and she asked me out, in a roundabout kind of way, although the meaning was clear. I know she's in a long term relationship with another girl. (I'm a guy)

So she tells me she's looking forward to it and I can tell she's keen, as can other who have been witness to this but I've played it down. So we go on our brief 'date' and she's very open about how we have a spark, that she doesn't want to cheat on her girlfriend etc. I had to clarify the situation and this is all unique. So by the end of it, it's all a bit up in the air, she wants to get to know me, she's confused, 'maybe we should just be friends' which was baffling as the conversation had turned around.

Never the less we swapped numbers and texted that day. Unfortunately she's gone away for a few weeks so I won't be able to speak to her and I can't text as I am concerned for her relationship, which she said was 'stable' but not magical I guess. We certainly have a spark but now my feelings are all over the place

    Advice really needed

As,it seems, are her feelings all over the place.

Having said that, she's in a relationship,so she's off limits.

    It's a simple as that.

I never messed with anyone that's in a relationship, nor teased myself with the possibilities. I suggest you do the same, and keep within the boundaries of good behavior. If you cannot, then keep a very safe distance, and don't get caught up in "dates", or texting about personal stuff. Just because she is gay, doesn't mean you should help her cheat.

Worry about yourself, and not her "stable" relationship.
