Property Title holder
Hi,
My dad and I purchased a home back in 2000 as co-applicants. Later in, 2006, I refinanced the loan under my name only, but we never took the trouble to change the title holder. Now, my home is in trouble and my dad owns his own house. He is not on my loan. 1) can my bank go after him if I choose to short sell the house? 2) what is the best way to remove his name and actually have it recorded from the date back in 2006?
