Discaharge appplication for total and permanent disability
Hi, I have been trying to get a discaharge application filled out for some time now. I had a docter fill it out and sent in my favorable decision from the disability judge and it was denied. Now I'm having a problem finding someone to fill it out my primary docter will not do it. What do I do now? I'm out of all of my hardship and things like that and soon facing garnishment. If I can't get this done how much can they leagally take from ssd?

What discharge application? I don't know what you are asking.

You were approved for SS Disability? And then someone else denied your "application" for something - ?

Your SS can only be touched for specific debts, mainly child support. Your SS cannot be garnished for credit card debts, for example. Other assets can be seized and/or liened, depending on the laws of your State.

    Where? What Country or State?

And, yes, SS benefits CAN be taken to repay student loans.

Please stop opening new threads with this same question.

If the Physician you are seeing now refuses to sign the paperwork, find another Physician who will.

The answer seems clear - you need a treating Physician to declare that you are unable to work, unable to pay these loans. You have been denied because you don't have such a statement.

    Find another Physician.
