    Intercast marriage
    Hi friends,
    I am vysya girl and my guy is a hindu but lower caste than mine and his parents are divorced but he is well settled and taking care of his mother. I don't know how to convince my parents because they are too orthodox and feels prestige about my marriage as I am there only daughter. Can any one suggest me how to convine my parents with out hurting them. *** *** *** ***

    This question is posted all the time lately. Only you know the best approach when it comes to talking to your parents. Can't you just sit down with them and tell them exactly what you've told us?

    There is no magic formula to persuade your parents to allow you to marry this man.

    How old are you? How long have you and him wanted to get married? Are you prepared to enter a household that his mothers needs will come before yours?
