Oil Painting Identification question.
Hello I Have this painting of a landscape with a signiture of " H . Dawson " in the lower left corner.
I would like to know if it is from the artist Henry Dawson born 1811 or if it is just a cheap fake. It was obtained from an elderly couple in Australia and I am not sure where they picked it up from. I have attached a few pictures of the painting and the signiture. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Jeff. |
