Hi! Our (7 year old) Kenmore dishwasher was making some very strange (loud) noises; like it was stuck going into the next cycle or something, it would still go all the way through the cycles though, was just loud. Now it won't go past the 1st cycle; I started it in the morning, ran errands, went to lunch, etc and came back hours later to it still banging around and on the first cycle. I haven't used it sense... any ideas out there?:confused:

Usually it's the small upper spinning water sprayer (whatever those are called) hitting dishes on the top rack, or the large bottom one hitting something sticking through the lower rack. Start an empty wash to see if the noise stops.
