I don't expect anyone to get this but I thought I'd give it a shot. About 10 years I go I washed this series at school that went back in time on each episode. The grandad would take his grandson and grandaughter. They would go back in time with him. For example on one episode they went to visit this lady who was locked in a tower. I think she was locked in the tower because she didn't get along with her sister. She would just sit at a table and cry. Also on one other episode they went to the seaside were they met this lady sitting on a bench who ate ice cream of a bit of paper. She loses something nad she says "Go and find a policeman" When the policeman arrives he finds what she has lost in a hole. I can remember the grandson saying "mum will be home soon. Finally on one of the episodes they visited a hospital becuase the grandson has broken his arm or hurt his arm. The nurse said that he would have to stay in over night. He replied "I don't want to stay in over night".

That's about all I remember please let me know if you've any ideas into what the series coud be called. Let me know if you may have a suggestion or need a tiny bit more information. All sugestions I will be grateful for.
