    MSO for mobile home
    How or where can I find a MSO for a 1984 mobile home in lincoln county Oklahoma. I do have the titile but the bank needs the MSO and we do not know where to find it or where to get one.

    Have you tried both the manufacturer and the DMV? You need the serial number, which should be on a little plate like a VIN on a car.
    I believe as a last resort there is a bond you can buy from title companies for long lost MSOs.

    I am confused, would not the serial number of the MO be on the title?

    Fr_Chuck, of course you're right. I didn't reread the question when I got back from searching for info for Oklahoma, which I couldn't find, and it seems the various states have quite different ways of storing MSOs and of dealing with them if lost. But the DMV should know where to go if they don't have it. Possibly a local mobile home dealer too.
