    Thermostat will not shut off when desired temp is reached.
    I live in a mobile home have 3 ton carrier unit... ac continues to run when inside thermostat reaches desired level.

    If its just the outside compressor that runs all the time and not the blower, you have a contactor stuck closed. If the blower and compressor run all the time and over cool the house you have a fault at the thermostat.
