4 year old does not like people, and is very very very smart
My 4 year old son has not seem to like people, like his grandparents. He is fine with us (his parents, brother and sisters) but he does not seem to want to talk to his grandparents, strangers, aunts uncles, anybody outside of his emidiate family. He also shows some signs of OCD, and is crazy smart, like quick whited, he already showes a high level of common and book séance. He also (when he was younger) did not like some textures. He was also adopted when he was 5 months old ( I think he was a meth baby) he did not sleep, and had never been to the doc for shots and was only 12lb. Am I crazy, over reacting or is there a mental issue withmy son like Autisum or Aspugers or PDD?

I'm guessing he's on the autism spectrum somewhere. (I live with two adults who are also on the spectrum.)

There is a huge amount of knowledge about autism now, with tons of helps for you and your son. Talk with your doctor about this, especially to get him correctly diagnosed and then put on the right track for any help he needs, like for developing socialization skills.

No matter what is going on with him, know that you have a very special little boy who may someday change the world!

There is enough information in your post to tell you that you need to have your son evaluated by a doctor. Start with your pediatrician, and tell them all of your concerns. After that your son should probably be evaluated by a Pediatric Psychiatrist and or a Pediatric Neurologist to determine if he has Autism. It's very important to get a diagnosis early so that your son can get appropriate treatment, education, and support so that he can live up to his full potential. Good Luck!
