Adding My Mom to My Deed Not My Mortgage
How do I add my mother's name to my house? She is living in it and is afraid that if something happens to me she will have to move. Also, if she is on it, we can homestead it with a double exemption since she is over 65. I would like to do this myself. What form(s) do I need and where do I take them? The house is in sumter county, fl.

Go to your county Clerk's office and ask. Generally you would use a quit claim deed deeding your interest to yourself and her as Joint Tenants.
