No, black hair is very harsh. Light bounces off it and it does not usually flatter a face. Lines, imperfections, wrinkles, and pimples are more visible. A person with black hair looks tired. One gets very sick of black hair very quickly, plus it's the traditional hair color of a witch.

If I had brown hair, I'd add lighter highlights or even streaks of gold, especially around my face to frame it and flatter it. Every color of clothing goes with brown.
