I wanted to finish my garage but having problems.
    Hi,
I am having a big dilemma on how to finished my garage. WE bought a new house for two years now. I'm planning to finished it before summer ends this year. Like a standard new house in Illinois part of the garage has the wall put in but for the rest you have to finished it. They only install one wall outlet. Now my dillemma is how to finished it. Whether to finished and insulate it first then put in the other outlets by using conduits or to place the wirings and outlets before I insulate and place the dry walls. I would need a very good advice. My electrician says to finished and insulate then he'll place the conduits but it does not feel good for me. I need an expert advice. Or should I get a new elctrician? Thank you. Need response.

It really doesn't matter which one you do first as long as each one is done correctly and efficiently. You certainly want the electrical and insulation completed before the sheetrock goes up.
