    Hot water heater
My hot water heater has a fuse box that contains two screw in fuses. Once in a while one blows and we can't figure out if it's the breaker or the hot water heater. We've tried changing both fuses and sometimes it works for quite a while, other times it only last for a short time.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Something doesn't sound right here. You mention fuses and breakers. Re-post on the electric page and describe you wiring.

You said "fuses" and then "bad breaker". Since they screw in we'll assume fuses, not breakers. Fuses just don't go bad, they are either overloaded or short. What size fuses? What size wire feeds them? Are they regular or slow blow fuses? If it only blows the same fuse, you possibly have a shorted heating electrode. If either one blows, you possibly have a system overload. Get back to us with the answers for the questions we asked and we'll try to go from there.
