Please don't type in all caps - it's the same as shouting and very difficult to read.

Any time you have sex (protected or unproteced) you can get pregnant.

It would appear - if all else is in line - that your chances are good.

On average it takes a healthy couple up to one year to conceive.

Eat healthy, start folic acid and taking care of yourself, your partner should also take care of his health, not smoke, quit drinking and wear loose underwear, its not just quality ova you want its quality sperm.

    Best of luck.

What would you consider to be a "good answer?"

We have absolutely no way of knowing if you will get pregnant this month. As we said, it depends on many factors.

Blondebabe... it sounds as though you have the timing down pretty well, although I would continue having sex for the next few days for a couple of reasons.

Ovulation tests let you know that your body is preparing for ovulation and that you will likely ovulate in the next couple of days once you get a true positive (remember test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line to be positive).

Ovulation charts give you the average time that you are likely to ovulate in regard to the length of your cycle. While many women will ovulate in this time, many others will naturally ovulate slightly before or after this.

It is always wise to start trying several days before expected ovulation right through to a few days after. If you can have sex every other day throughout the cycle, with perhaps a couple extra tries right before you would expect ovulation, timing should not be an issue.

As was said, however, timing is only one factor in the equation that leads to pregnancy. This is why there is roughly only a 20-25% chance of becoming pregnant in any given cycle. Most couples will become pregnant within a year of actively trying, as red said, but it can take longer some times.

I know it is difficult when it doesn't happen right away and you feel that you are doing everything just right. Try not to get discouraged. It very well may happen this time, or it may take several months longer.

In the meantime, enjoy the trying. Do your best not to let it become a chore with counting days and checking tests too much.

Do make sure that you and your partner have made any lifestyle changes that you know would be healthy and wise.

Fingers crossed it happens soon for you!
