I am having trouble putting my 38" deck back on my John Deere 160.
I seem to have most back on and attatched where it came from. I cannot find out where the spring attaches to the deck from the hanger "L" bracket (with the little hole in it for it's side of the spring.)it is on the chute side. And the deck doesn't want to lower as low as it should. It is an older model. 1988ish. There is another image on this site of a deck with a similar question. But mine is the 3rd spring. The one you must remove when taking off he deck.
