    My daughters dog visits
My daughters dog comes to visit and stays for a few days. But my dog poops and has a yellowish discharge although he has been neutered. I am always having to watch my dog.

So what's your question? Does your dog only have this problem when your daughters dog is around? Are you more concerned over your dog's problem? Or over your daughter's dog being there? Have you spoken to your vet about your dog's problem?

I agree with Just here, what's the actual question? Is the discharge coming from his penis or is it around the poop? Are both dogs up to date with vaccine and flea and worm treatments?

Well... Yellowish discharge would be an infection of some sort... And the fact that your dog poops in the house with another dog would be a case of your dog being jealous and protesting to another dog in his house.

Go to the vet for the yellowish discharge. I'm sure he has it now, you just don't notice because he isn't in hyperdrive and probably peeing more then normal.

For your dog pooping in your house.. Clean it up with a good cleaner and put your dog outside while you clean it. There is no use in punishing him, he won't know why. He is acting out in protest. Ensure your dog has gone potty before the other dog arrives and maybe keep in on leash, close to you to prevent him from pooing on your floor.

Actually yellowish or even greenish discharge from a male dog's penis doesn't necessarily mean infection, most (male) dogs get smegma, a normal discharge of mucoid glycoproteins and dead epithelial cells. As long as it doesn't have a foul odor and the dog isn't excessively licking it, it's nothing to to worry about. Of course the OP should have this looked at to make sure it is only smegma and nothing more serious.
