    Whether the speed of broadband divide in client server connection
    I will be very pleased if anybody could tell me that when we connect two computers by LAN than whether the speed of the broadband will divide or not. I mean for example if it is 128kbps. After connection will it remain same in both the computers or will it divide to 64kbps.:confused:

    The speed of your connection is between your broadband carrier and your broadband modem. Once received by the modem, datapackets are transferred to your router at Ethernet speeds and then transferred across your LAN according to your LAN typography.

    Sorry for the late reply. When using a switch your speed is 1:1 no matter how many pcs you use in a switch. But for a hub, speed will be divided equally amongst the computers.

    Use URL bandwidthplcae.com to check bandwidth of your internet on all your client computer.
