I had intercourse this month on day 13 and 15 of my cycle. I usually ovulate on day 14 or 15 each month (I am on a 28 day cycle). I have been trying to get pregnant for 4 months now with no success. According to an online website this is my cylce: Apr - 20 - 11 - A little bit fertile, Apr - 21 - 11 - Fertile, Apr - 22 - 11 - VERY fertile at this time, Apr - 23 - 11 - Fertile + Time to ovulate, Apr - 24 - 11 - Fertile... So if this is correct I had intercourse 2 days before I ovulated and on the day I ovulated as well.
I have for the past 2 months been paying close attention to my CM. Usually after I ovulate my cm becomes sticky and drys up. Today is day 17 of my cycle and I have noticed an increass in cm. I did a finger check when I first woke up and it was clear (with parts being white) and very stringy... like you would expect at ovulation. Only for me when I ovulate its just clear. It is orderless and sometimes looks bubbely (the white part of it). I was wondering if this could be a sign I am pregnant like possible cm from a mucus plug forming. Or is it possible that I ovulated late? I don't feel prgnat and don't think implantation could even happen this quickly to trigger a plug to start. Please let me know what you think... starting to feel like I'll never get pregnant.

Did you have sex just on day 13 and 15 of your cycle? Your ovulation may not occur according to the online calendar. Those only give you a place to start and if you focus just on the day they predict, you could be off by a matter of just days. That can make all the difference when trying to become pregnant.

It's great that you are paying attention to possible signs of ovulation. Once you feel you have a pretty good idea, you may want to start the trying in earnest several days sooner than you normally would, and continue right through to a few days after suspected ovulation. This can cover more days in case you tend to ovulate a bit sooner or later than the norm.

You wouldn't notice discharge associated with the formation of the mucus plug just yet. IF you did become pregnant from just a couple of days ago, the egg would still be in the process of becoming fertilized and moving to the uterus for implantation. This process can take about 7-12 days... the earlier implantation tends to yield more success.

The discharge may be that you are ovulating slightly later than you thought. Best to continue having intercourse a few times over the next several days.

Timing is just part of it remember, so try not to get disappointed or frustrated if it isn't happening as quickly as you would hope. Counting days, making checks and such can be stressful. Be careful sex does not become a chore... :)

I am NEVER late on my cycle... it always has from the first day I started getting my period been on time... every 28 days... well today I am officially 2 days late and don't feel pregnant... but want to know everyone's opinions... I had moderste cromping on Monday (today is sun.. mothersday)... everyday the cramping was less and less and eventually went away. I no longer have any cramps but feel bloated... kind of like my bladders full but with out the earge to pee... I took a test this morning and it came out negative.. I was so disapointed... I feel as though it is hopless for me to get pregnant... is it possible I had a false negative? Can I still be pregnant?

It's possible you are pregnant and the test just hasn't picked it up yet. It is also possible that your period will start soon, even if it has never been off before. Give it another week and see what happens. If still no period, try another test making sure that you follow the directions exactly.

Well only time can tell so I'll try to be patient... if I don't start in a week I'll try again... I will probably buy a different test brand too... the one I used only cost a dollar... and well you usaly get what you pay for.. thanks for your help.

Well this will probably be my last post for a while. But before I leave I just wanted everyone's opinion one last time. I ended up getting my period 3 days late (it was a huge disapointment) however it was lighter than normal and only lasted 2 days long. It was followed by several days of very light spotting (so light I didn't need any linners.). Normaly my periods are heavy and last 7 days, this one was only moderate for 2 day. I had excepted the idea that I am not pregnant. However today I woke up and I noticed I have more cm than I should... normaly I am dry right now but my cm is as much as it would be right before I ovulate... so is there a small chance that I am pregnant? Don't feel like I am at all and don't want to waste my money on a test if there is not a chance. I have an apointment with my ob gyn tomorrow... I was planing on going back on the pill for a month or so... my friend was able to get prehnate when she went on the pill then off it, so I was going to give it a shot... any suggestions? Could I still be pregnant?

Since your last period was off form the norm, it may still be possible. When you see your doctor tomorrow, they will do a pregnancy test while you are there.

It takes the average couple up to a YEAR to get pregnant---IF nothing is wrong!

You should be talking to your gynecologist about tracking ovulation via your basal body temperature.

Have both you and your husband had complete physical examinations?

You have NOT been trying to get pregnant for very long, regardless how it feels to you. Most fertility specialists won't even see you until you have been unable to conceive within a year's time.

Please do not stress about getting pregnant every single month, as that will only make it less likely for you to conceive.

It took my husband and I TEN YEARS to get pregnant, and that was after multiple tests and treating medical conditions. Just relax and stay in contact with your gynecologist. When you have a late period, test, but do not stress overly about it every single month.

PS--it wasn't until we'd tried almost everything and finally I gave up that we got pregnant. If you create a HUGE focus on being pregnant, you're going to have a harder time getting to that condition.
