    Offshore oil worker and garnishment
    I live in AL, but I work offshore for an oil services company. Can my wages be garnished for anything other than taxes or child support.

    Yes, Alabama allows creditors to garnish up to 25% of salary for debt. However a judgment must be obtained first and a legal writ of execution served on the employer.
