    I'm on a Join Co-Defendent Probation, Do I have to pay full or half of Restution?
    I'm on probation for grand theft, I was able to transfer from Fl to Mn and been paying restitution when I able to get money and my co-defendant has paid a dime towards the restitution and I was wondering if I have to pay full or half. I talked to a Public defend in Florida and he said I would only have to pay half..

    It is not what the DA says at this point, it is what the actual court order says, and what the PO has in his paper work.

    But unless you were ordered to only pay 1/2, you "both owe the full amount" so if the other partner to the crime does not pay, you may have to.

    You need this ** IN WRITING** and the details on file with the PO,
